Baby Shower Game Ideas That Make You Truly Understand Motherhood

This baby shower game idea is fun and completely hilarious. It does not matter if the guests at the baby shower are even mothers, this game will be a lot fun for everyone.

What you will need: - Toy doll about the size of a newborn baby

- 5 foot long rope or string.

- A really small laundry basket. You could also use a fruit basket if you don’t have any laundry baskets available.

- 10 outfits of baby clothing (Use brand new ones and give them to the Mom-to be after the game is done.)

-A pack of clothes pins

-A home telephone that works

-A cell phone

-An egg timer or kitchen timer

-A gift for the winner

Here is how you get started: For this baby shower game idea, each guest gets an opportunity to be the multi-tasking mommy. Two of the guests will hold an end of the string to make it stand up like a clothesline. The hostess will then give the multi-tasking mommy the laundry basket, clothes pins and of course the baby doll.

The victim, I mean player, will be handed the cell phone while another guest calls her from the other phone to carry on a conversation.

The person on the phone will try asking them certain questions to make them pay attention, such as, ‘What was your husband’s name again?’ or ‘What was the name of your very first pet?’

The player will try and hold the baby and at the same time, speak on the cell phone and hang the baby clothes on the string. She will have to keep it up for three minutes. When the timer goes off, she stops. Someone will write down the number of clothing articles she was able to hang up. However, if the baby falls, it is an automatic loss.

Every baby shower guest will get a turn, and whoever gets the most pieces of clothing on the clothesline, and can hold the baby while carrying on a great conversation wins the game.
