For this most menacing of Superman villains, defeating the entire Justice League was achieved easily, and this caught Superman’s attention. He was so powerful, that he was able to defeat the team with one hand bound behind him.

There was only one of the group who had any chance of defense against Doomsday, and that was Maxima. After Doomsday caught Superman’s attentions, the two would eventually battle. Much unlike other Superman villains, Doomsday was more than a match for Superman, and in one battle, they both fought hard and long, with Superman taking serious damage and losing strength quickly. Neither, however, would give up.

Then, in a historic moment of superhero comic book legends, Doomsday and Superman strike each other at the same time, causing an unforgettable and history making event. This is where the ‘death of Superman’ came in at.

At that point, a Cyborg took Doomsday to a place farway, never to return again, so they thought. It was just one more ‘death’ that this villain would overcome.

If you think of all the Spiderman villians, you have to know of Carnage, as he is surely, one of the most horrific and terrifying villains Spiderman has needed to face. He was created when a predator alien bonded with a serial killer named Cletus Kasady.

Carnage is considered a Symbiote, which means he has some amazing abilities which include superhuman speed and strength, stamina, agility and reflexes that this world has never seen. He makes all the other Spiderman villians look like flies on the wall waiting as prey.

Carnage has a great advantage over Spiderman, and that is his immunity to Spiderman’s spider sense. So, when the attacks from Carnage come, Spiderman is usually caught off guard.

Kasady comes from a violent background, probably more violent than all of the Spiderman villains, as Kasady claims his father brutally murdered his mother.

Kasidy continued to share his violent nature by letting his doctors know the had killed his own grandmother, then tortured his mother’s dog, which in turn caused his mother to want to kill Kasidy, her own son. It’s no wonder this character is wildly insane. Kasady was convicted of more than 11 murders, but had murdered much more than that, all by his early twenties.

Carnage is a combination of insanity, sadistic with pure and deadly abilities. The combination of these things is what makes Carnage a character that Spiderman fans want to keep an eye on.
